Other Custom Post Types

Besides 3 main custom post types (“Slideshows”, “Media Albums” and “Portfolio”), there are 3 additional ones: “Team”, “Testimonials” and “Partners, Clients, etc.”. They are not so often used and their interfaces are based on the same principals as main post types.

Make sure that you are accustomed with ”Slideshows“, “Media Albums” and “Portfolio” before embarking additional post types.

Team

Team members can be added via “WP-admin > Team > Add new” interface.
Use title field for teammate name; biography/description can be added in Text Editor (WYSIWYG). “Options” box allows to add teammate position and links to social profiles.

You can display your team by assigning any page “Team” page template. It’s interface is very similar to “portfolio – masonry” page template, except advanced appearance settings are missing.

Alternatively you can use “Team” shortcode and widget.

Testimonials

Testimony can be added via “WP-admin > Testimonials > Add new” interface.
Title field will become testimony author name; body of testimony can be added in Text Editor (WYSIWYG). “Options” box allows to add testimony author position and link to authors site.

You can display your testimonials by assigning any page “Testimonials” page template. It’s interface is very similar to “portfolio – masonry” page template, except advanced appearance settings are missing.

Alternatively you can use “Testimonials” shortcode and widget.

Partners, Clients, etc.

This post type is ideal for displaying sets of logos of your clients, partners, affiliates, etc.

You can add separate logo via “WP-admin > Partners, Clients, etc. > Add New” interface. Note that in addition to regular-sized logo (featured image), you can upload its high-res (retina) version. Logo will became clickable if you fill the “target link:” field.

“Partners, Clients, etc.” can be displayed via eponymous widget and shortcode.

… We realize that ”Partners, Clients, etc.” is not the best name for a post type and going to rename it to simply “Logos” in earliest future :)
